Commissioner Ken Goike was appointed by the Board in January of 2025 to fill a vacancy in District 1. Previously, Ken was elected to the Michigan House of Representatives where he served from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2016, when he was term limited. A lifelong resident of Macomb County, he is the owner of Goike Trucking and Excavating. He has experience working in agriculture, on-site systems and underground utilities. Ken served as president of the Armada Fair, and is a member of the Agricultural Society, Michigan Farm Bureau, the Michigan Builders Association and the Septic Association. He is a member of Berville Lions and Macomb 4-H. He is a parishioner at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
