This advisory committee to the Macomb County Board of Commissioners is comprised of older adults designated to serve by commissioners and representing each Commission district as well as up to four at-large members.
The OAAC was established per Resolution 2017-500: Resolution Establishing Macomb County Older Adult Advisory Committee (amended through Resolution R18-1477 adopted April 25, 2018), which can be found here.
The Older Adult Advisory Committee meets on a regular basis and its purpose is to learn and inquire about challenges, trends, concerns and opportunities affecting older adults in the County and to communicate with the Board of Commissioners what is learned.
