County Commissioner Don Brown to Host Veterans Outreach Events May 2 (Romeo) & May 13 (Richmond)
County Commissioner Don Brown will host two veteran outreach events in the northern region of the county this spring! This is an opportunity for active duty and retired veterans to learn about the benefits and programs offered in Macomb County. Family members are also welcome to attend and get information.
Representatives from Macomb County Veterans Services will be on hand to talk about the full range of programs and benefits available to veterans throughout the county. County Clerk/Register of Deeds Anthony Forlini will have information on services provided at the clerk’s office, including DD214’s.
Other agencies that will be on hand with services and information include:
- CARE of Southeastern Michigan
- Easter Seals (Richmond only 5-13)
- Lakeshore Legal Aid
- Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (Richmond only 5-13)
- Michigan State University Extension
- MichiganWorks!
- Veteran Navigator
- Veterans with Hearing Loss
