Animal Control

The mission of the Animal Control division is to protect the health and safety of our residents, and to protect animals and promote their humane treatment.

Boards and Commissions

The county maintains several boards, commissions and committees which have been established by federal, state and local laws and/or Board of Commissioners' resolutions.

Courts

The purpose of the Macomb County Circuit Court is to serve the public by providing a fair, expeditious and impartial forum for the resolution of civil and criminal matters through the rule of law.

Health Department

Macomb Orchard Trail Commission

This hike and bike path is a 24-mile linear park that starts at 24 Mile Road and Dequindre in Shelby Township and travels northeast to the City of Richmond. This trail will link to 180 miles of trails in southeast Michigan.

Roads

The Macomb County Department of Roads is dedicated to providing the public with a quality county road system, with a focus on safety and convenience for motorists and the community, environmental responsibility, and financial accountability.

Senior Services

The focus of this division is to support the local senior community with not only food needs but also to address the needs of our growing and diverse senior population. This division is widely known for its most popular program: Meals on Wheels (MOW).

Treasurer's Office (Taxes)

The Office of the County Treasurer exists by virtue of Michigan Law. The Treasurer is responsible for accounting of all revenue, investments, securities, and the County monies in financial institutions.
