The Macomb County Board of Commissioners announces an upcoming Drop-In Community Bike Ride, an initiative aimed at promoting health and wellness. This free event will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at Joseph J. Delia Jr. Park located at 3001 18 Mile Road in Sterling Heights.
The Community Bike Ride event reflects the Board of Commissioners’ commitment to fostering a healthier and more connected Macomb County and is hosted by Commissioner Don VanSyckel from Sterling Heights. Commissioner Don VanSyckel encourages residents to embrace an active lifestyle and explore their surroundings. “The Community Bike Ride reflects our shared vision for a healthier, more connected Macomb County,” said Commissioner Don VanSyckel. “I invite all residents to join us in experiencing the outdoors and exploring the community we call home.”
Two routes are available – a two-mile route and a four-mile route. Both are family-friendly, suitable for all ages and showcase the park’s natural landscapes.
To pre-register or for route maps and more information, visit bocmacomb.org. Registrations will also be taken on-site that morning. Bike helmets are required.
