Macomb County Board of Commissioners to Recognize Volunteers for 36th Year
The Macomb County Board of Commissioners is celebrating 36 years of honoring volunteers! With that, they are asking the Macomb County community to help by nominating those who dedicate their time to helping others.
For an individual to be considered for recognition, the volunteer must either reside in, or have performed volunteer hours that benefitted, Macomb County. All nominees must be at least 18 years of age and have performed 150 hours of service in calendar year 2024.
From those nominated, Commissioners will choose two per district to be recognized at a special reception in April.
The deadline for nominations is 5 pm on March 7, 2025. The nomination form and additional information can be found on the Board’s website at bocmacomb.org.
