Macomb County Board of Commissioners – Older Adult Advisory Committee (OAAC)
The Older Adult Advisory Committee (OAAC) of the Macomb County Board of Commissioners, Chaired by Commissioner Barbara Zinner, will meet on Friday, September 29th at 2:00 PM at the Shelby Township Senior Center located at 14975 21 Mile Road, Shelby Township, MI 48315.
The OAAC serves as an advisory committee to the Macomb County Board of Commissioners and is comprised of older adults designated to serve by commissioners and representing each commission district as well up to four at-large members. The committee meets to learn and inquire about challenges, trends, concerns, and opportunities affecting older adults in the County and to communicate with the Commissioner what is learned.
Mr. Dave Pankotai, Chief Executive Officer of Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH) is scheduled to give an overview and update during the September meeting. Furthermore, the meeting will feature a presentation on the forthcoming 2024 County Budget, providing attendees with insights into the county’s financial priorities and allocations for the upcoming year. All meetings are open to the public and community members, and interested parties are encouraged to attend.
