For the 32nd consecutive year, and in conjunction with “National Volunteer Recognition Month,” the Macomb County Board of Commissioners recognized and express appreciation for the valuable contributions made by volunteers residing in – or whose efforts benefit – Macomb County.
While we know there are hundreds of volunteers who make Macomb County the exceptional place it is, due to the Board’s inability to honor our volunteers in person for 2021 each Commissioner chose one volunteer who represented the spirit of their district. These individuals, along with the 2021 Senior Volunteer of the Year, were honored virtually at the April 29 Full Board meeting.
